We value the strong commitment to health and community that health food retailers have been offering for decades, and we want to support the industry’s continued growth and success.

Shopping at the local health food outlet is a vastly different experience to major supermarket shopping, both in terms of the products available, and the service provided. Shelves are generally stocked with quality products of genuine integrity in health values, and the staff members are in the business of looking after the well-being, nutrition and vitality of their local community.

With today’s busy lifestyles and health challenges there is even greater demand for diversity and functionality of health food products, and in response, new product manufacturers are popping up in creative little pockets all across Australia.

With Foodsource, we look forward to strengthening the connection between the manufacturers of these quality products, the distributors who can spread them across their networks Australia-wide, and the retail stockists who can make them available to the wider community.

Founder

Vicki Yianni, proprietor of Vital Media, the publisher of Foodsource, has been in the health, environment and wellness industry for a number of years. She held a marketing position for an Australian environmental group and also managed a state office for a major health magazine for a few years before dreaming up the Foodsource project. Also a writer with several children’s books published by Oxford, Vicki has the skills (and not to mention the re’Sources!) to ensure that Foodsource continues to be a vital marketing tool for the health products industry in Australia
